Busiqueens Awards 2026: nominations are open in 52 categories
Free nominations in 52 categories, a public nominee page, customer reviews and a magazine feature. Here is how it works.
Nominations for the Busiqueens Awards 2026 are open. Any woman entrepreneur in India can be nominated, or nominate herself, in one of 52 business categories, free of charge, in about three minutes. Every approved nominee gets her own page on busiqueens.com, public reviews from her customers and a feature in the Busiqueens Magazine, and the winners are felicitated on stage in Kolkata at our fifth anniversary celebration, Sparkle Like a Crown.
Fifty-four nominees are already live on the Awards 2026 Nominee Reviews page, from home bakers and mehendi artists to teachers, doctors and clothing brands. The ceremony date and venue will be announced on the event page and in The Queen’s Letter.
Who can be nominated
Any woman who owns or runs a business in India, in any category, whether she works from home, online or from a shop. You do not need to be a Busiqueens member to be nominated, and most nominations are self-nominations. If you nominate a woman whose business you admire, we contact her to confirm before anything goes live.

The categories follow the way women actually run businesses: Baker and Confectioner, Caterer and Home Chef, Chocolatier, Food Brand, Clothing Brand, Fashion Designer, Modest Clothing and Hijab Brand, Mehendi Artist, Make-up Artist, Beautician and Salon, Hair and Beauty Professional, Nail Artist, Educationist and Teacher, Play School, Fitness Coach, Nutritionist, Doctor (Allopathy and Homoeopathy), Physiotherapist, Counselling Professional, Jewellery Brand, Accessories, Handcrafter, Home Decor Seller, Gifts and Stationery, Photographer, Videographer, Graphic Designer, Web Designer, Digital Marketer, Social Media Manager, Content Writer, Business Consultant, Legal Consultant, Accountant, Event Management, Interior Designer, Travel Agency, Real Estate and more. How it works, from nomination to the stage
- Nominate. Fill in the free form on the Awards 2026 event page: your name, business, category, city, a short About (60 to 500 characters), a photo or logo, and your Instagram, Facebook or website links.
- We check it. The Busiqueens team reviews every nomination, usually within three working days and always within a week, and emails you the approval or what needs a change.
- Your page goes live. Approved nominees appear on the Nominee Reviews page with their own profile and a review form, so customers can back them publicly.
- Round 2 and the ceremony. Round 2 announcements follow on Instagram, and the winners in each category are felicitated on stage in Kolkata. Every nominee is featured in the Busiqueens Magazine.
Why nominate now
The earlier your page is live, the longer your customers have to review you, and reviews are public and permanent on your nominee page. Nominees also tell us that the page itself brings enquiries: it is a verified, shareable profile with your links, your About and your category, indexed by search engines.
There is no fee at any stage. Nomination, the page, the reviews and the magazine feature are free. Members who also want a full business listing in the Busiqueens directory can list separately for Rs 999 a year; the two are independent.
What happened in earlier editions
Busiqueens has recognised women in business every year since its first anniversary in 2022: the first award function in July 2022, the Retro Awards Night and Magazine 4.0 launch in February 2024, and the Milestone Awards Night, Dress to Empress, in June 2024. Sparkle Like a Crown marks five years since the community began as a Facebook group on 7 June 2021.
