In short
The directory is for genuine, women-owned businesses. Every listing is checked by a real person before it goes live, gets a numbered certificate with a QR code, and is valid for one year. Wrong or fake listings are removed.
1. Who can list
A business can be listed when it is owned, or majority-owned and run, by a woman, and the person creating the listing is that owner or someone she has authorised. The owner declares this on the form. Sole proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, companies, home businesses, freelancers and professionals all qualify if the ownership test is met. One listing per business; a woman with two distinct businesses may list each.
2. What we check before approval
Our team reviews every listing within 3 working days. We check that the business is real (website, social pages, photos, a phone call or WhatsApp where needed), that the ownership declaration is credible, that the category is right, that photos and the logo are the business's own (screenshots are rejected automatically), and that the contact details work. We may ask for one document that shows ownership (for example a GST certificate, Udyam registration, shop licence, bank proof or a signed declaration); we keep it only for verification and delete it after.
3. The certificate
Approved listings receive a Busiqueens Verified Business certificate with a unique number and a QR code that links to the live listing. Certificate numbers are issued once and never reused. A certificate is valid only while the listing is live; scanning the QR code shows the current status.
4. Validity and renewal
A listing is valid for 365 days from approval. Reminders go out 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before expiry and on the day. After expiry there is a 15-day grace period during which the listing shows as "Renewal due"; after that it is hidden until renewed. Renewing keeps the same certificate number and profile URL.
5. Keeping your listing accurate
You can ask for changes any time with the Update my listing form (on your listing page or at /update-my-listing/), using the email you listed with. Our team makes the change; edits never take a live listing offline. Tell us within 30 days if the business closes, changes ownership, or changes its main category. A listing found to be materially wrong may be paused until corrected.
6. What is not allowed
Businesses that are not women-owned; multi-level marketing and chain schemes; businesses selling illegal, counterfeit or unsafe goods; adult content; gambling; misleading claims (for example medical cures or guaranteed income); copied photos or logos; contact details that belong to someone else; more than one listing for the same business; keyword stuffing or fake reviews.
Businesses we do not list
Sample, for owner review (policy text, not legal advice): We do not list gambling or betting, cryptocurrency or trading tips, loans or lending apps, adult content, or anything that is unlawful in India. A listing, nomination, review or message about any of these is rejected automatically when it is sent. A listing found later to be in one of these categories is removed without refund.
7. Reviews on listings
Customers may leave moderated reviews. Business owners may reply once per review. We remove reviews that are fake, abusive or unrelated to a real experience, and we may remove a listing that solicits or buys reviews.
8. Reports and removal
Anyone can report a listing from the listing page or by writing to [GRIEVANCE EMAIL]. We acknowledge within 24 hours, investigate and decide within 15 days, and inform the reporter and the owner of the outcome. Listings removed for breaking this policy are not refunded. Owners may appeal once through the Grievance Redressal process.
9. Data and consent
Public parts of a listing are visible to everyone and to search engines. Documents shared for verification are private and deleted after the check. See the Privacy Policy for data rights.
