How to choose the right tutor or coach
The right teacher can change how a child feels about a subject, or help an adult learn a new skill with confidence. Many educators in our community teach from home or online. Here is how to choose well.
Be clear about the goal. Is it school support, board exam preparation, spoken English, Quran classes, art, coding or a hobby? Share the class, board and what feels difficult right now. A good teacher will tell you honestly whether she is the right fit.
Ask about experience and approach. Ask how long she has taught this subject and level, how she plans lessons and how she tracks progress. Every listing on Busiqueens is reviewed by our team before it goes live, and the Verified badge shows it has been checked.
Try a first class. Many tutors offer a demo or first session. Watch how your child responds, or how comfortable you feel as a learner. Comfort and trust matter as much as the syllabus.
Agree the schedule and format. Confirm the days, timings, class length and whether classes are one to one, in small groups, at home, at her place or online. For online classes, check the platform and that your device and internet work well.
Talk about fees and policies clearly. Ask for the monthly or per-class fee, what happens with missed classes, and whether study material is included. Keep the details in writing on WhatsApp. Be careful of anyone who promises guaranteed marks: steady progress comes from regular practice.
Read the reviews. Reviews from other parents and learners tell you about patience, punctuality and progress. After a few months, come back and leave a review. It helps the next family and supports a woman educator.
When you are ready, contact the teacher directly on WhatsApp or by phone from her profile.
